Today marks the 40th annaversery of the Apollo 11 NASA mission. On this day fourty years ago two astrounots walked on the moon and won the space race against Russia. Yesterday, the shuttle Endevear launched after a six day delay. It launched at 6:03 pm at the Kennedy Space Center in Orlando, Flordia. I stood only three and a half miles away.

Today, we should think about all the great things that NASA as invented... like car seats for children, velcro that binds stuff together... and how could I forget cordless power tools. Without them... most people would still have their fingers.

Anyway, lets thank those three brave astrounots who had only a 50% chance in succeeding and coming back alive. Neil and Buzz were the first two men on the moon, and their foot prints are still up their today.

In the words of a national hero, "This is one small step for man, one gaint leap for mankind."
