A six year old sat to her left with her older brother who had just turned seven. An older boy sat across from them and was fast asleep. All of them were the only survivors of a bombing in their village. Ly's mother was killed in the blast of fire and her father was found dead under fallen debris. She guessed that these children were in a similar situation. The truck was covered with a thick coarse fabric to keep out the sun and rain. Hitori and Heiki ran back to the restaurant just as Jaaku closed and locked the door. Instead of unlocking the door and letting the boys in as he walked back into his room. The boys pounded on the door until they saw Jaaku turn a corner, knowing that he would never turn back and let them in.

The next morning Dustfinger woke up in the chair that he had brought in the night before. He looked out the window; he was greeted by the sunrise.
